Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026
Who we are
This policy covers the SHARK Practical AI application ("the App"), operated by Abdelfattah Elsharkawy (the "SHARK · Practical AI" channel), which connects to TikTok through the TikTok developer platform's Login Kit and Content Posting API. Contact: sharkainews@gmail.com.
What the App does
The App lets the channel operator sign in to their own TikTok account and publish videos they have created. It is a personal publishing tool for the SHARK · Practical AI content, not a service open to third-party user accounts.
Information we access
When you authorize the App, TikTok shares with it only the data required for the requested scopes:
- Basic account info (
user.info.basic) — your TikTok user ID and public profile display, used to identify your account. - Video upload (
video.upload) — the video files, titles, captions and settings you choose to publish through the App.
We do not collect passwords, messages, contacts, location, or any data outside these scopes.
How we use it
- To authenticate your TikTok session and publish the videos you authorize.
- To keep a record of what was published, from where, and when, for the channel's editorial workflow.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your TikTok data with anyone.
- We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
- We do not post anything to your account that you have not explicitly authorized.
Storage and retention
OAuth tokens and publishing records are stored securely on the operator's own private infrastructure, access is limited to the operator, and access tokens are revoked when the connection is disconnected. Published videos remain on TikTok under your account, where TikTok's own policies apply.
Your choices
You can revoke the App's access to your TikTok account at any time in TikTok settings (Settings → Privacy → Connected apps), or by asking the operator directly. After revocation the App loses all access immediately.
TikTok's role
TikTok acts as a data controller for your TikTok account data under its own Privacy Policy. This policy covers only the App's own handling of the data it receives from TikTok.
